Buy one (implant), get one free - Stay classy Wisconsin!

A really, really tacky billboard campaign in rural Wisconsin by a wannabe made me immediately think to quote the Will Ferrel character, Ron Burgundy, from the movie "Anchorman",

"Stay classy, Wisconsin!"

Tasteful advertising! Does it surprise anyone that this Doctor promoting plastic surgery is not actually a Plastic Surgeon? Well at least he's a surgeon which is not the case with all these cases. Of note, this yahoo was recently fined (see here) closed to $20,000 for Medicare billing fraud.

Remember to always look for a board-certified Plastic Surgeon when you're considering cosmetic surgery. You can inquire here on the American Board of Plastic Surgery website.

Well, people who are well experienced doesn't go for such banner advertisements. People will go in search for good doctors.
Meanwhile, there are people who gets attracted by such advertisements & gets the treatment & suffer later. My answer will be, please don't believe such ads & posters.

This billboard is simultaneously hilarious and frightening. "Yahoo" is an understatement when referring to this non-plastic surgeon/charlatan.

It never ceases to amaze me how often patients are duped. We need to spread the word that plastic surgery should be performed only by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons.

Even the term 'board certified' has been hijacked by the kooks at the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery...I'm taking my ABPS oral exam this November...I wonder if that's even going to matter to a patients...doubt it. Nobody asks now.

When it comes to
Medical and cosmetic surgery procedures, board certification can certainly be a first step toward making sure you aren't defrauded. The photo does look good though!
